sixth grade algebra simplification of equations is my worst problem. Can any one help me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for starting this subject?

You might want to check out Algebra Professor. I bought it some time back to help me with my Basic Math course and I can say that it was a wise decision. There are so many demos given which you can go through. You can also try out the questions related to point-slope and mixed numbers by just typing them in. Algebra Professor provides comprehensive description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts understandable . I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

Algebra Professor truly is a must-have for us math students. As my dear friend said in the preceding post, it solves questions and it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that eventual result. That way you don’t just get to know the final answer but also learn how to go about solving questions from the scratch , and it helps a lot in working on assignments.

I remember having often faced problems with angle complements, unlike denominators and trigonometric functions. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebra Professor software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Pre Algebra, Remedial Algebra and College Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
