I'm just thinking if someone can give me a few pointers here so that I can understand the basics of why math poem. I find solving problems really difficult. I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring . Can you guys suggest any online tool that can assist me with this subject?

You really shouldn’t have spent money on a math tutor. Had you posted this message before hiring a tutor , you could have saved yourself a lot of money! Anyway, what’s done is done . In order to make sure that you do well in your exams I would recommend trying Algebra Professor. It’s a user-friendly software. It can solve the toughest problems for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how to go about solving it! At one point in time when even I was having difficulty understanding angle-angle similarity, exponential equations and adding fractions. But thanks to Algebra Professor, everything’s good now.

That's true, a good program can do miracles . I tried a few but Algebra Professor is the greatest. It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in Algebra 2 and Algebra 2 as well , so you don't have to worry that it's not on your level. If you never had a software until now I can tell you it's very easy , you don't need to know anything about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the software solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

I remember having difficulties with adding exponents, linear inequalities and inverse matrices. Algebra Professor is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Pre Algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
