Guys , I am in need of aid on distance of points, radical expressions, greatest common factor and roots. Since I am a beginner to Intermediate algebra, I really want to understand the bedrocks of Intermediate algebra fully . Can anyone suggest the best place from where I can start learning the basics? I have a class test next week.

I have been in your situation some time agowhen I was studying conceptual physics online quiz. What part of slope and reducing fractions poses more problems ? Because I am sure that what you really need is a good program to help you understand the basic concepts and methods of solving the exercises. Did you ever use a software like that? I have tried several of those but I have to say that Algebra Professor is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to think , it doesn't just give you the answers .

I fully agree with that. Algebra Professor has already helped me solving problems on conceptual physics online quiz in the past, and confident that you would like it. I have never been to a reputed school, but thanks to this software my math problem solving skills are as good as than students studying in one of those fancy schools.

Thanks for the detailed information , this sounds great . I wished for something exactly like Algebra Professor, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually explain me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can understand it and after that solve it without any help , not just copy the answers . Where can I find the program ?

I am a regular user of Algebra Professor. It not only helps me get my assignments faster, the detailed explanations given makes understanding the concepts easier. I strongly suggest using it to help improve problem solving skills.
