I'm just wondering if anyone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the concepts behind completing the square if a is negative. I find solving equations really difficult. I work in the evening and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring . Can you guys suggest any online tool that can help me with this subject?

I have been in your place a few years ago when I was studying completing the square if a is negative. What part of quadratic equations and percentages poses more problems ? Because I am sure that what you really need is a good program to help you figure out the basic concepts and methods of solving the exercises. Did you ever use a program like that? I have tried a few but I have to say that Algebra Professor is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to solve, it doesn't just give you the solutions.

You must go through Algebra Professor. I had always found math to be a difficult subject but this program made it very easy to understand . You can type in the question and it provides you the answer, just like that! It is so easy that learning becomes a fun experience.
