Guys , I am in need of assistance on binomials, trinomials, quadratic formula and adding functions. Since I am a novice to Intermediate algebra, I really want to learn the basics of College Algebra completely. Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can start learning the fundamental principles ? I have an exam next week.

Hey brother . Let me tell you some thing, even mathematicians in this field sometimes lag in a specific area. Mathematics is such a diverse subject, that it sometimes becomes impossible to understand every part with equal ease. If you are facing problems with why was fraction invented, why don’t you try Algebra Professor. This program has helped many friends of mine and I have used it a couple of times as well. Algebra Professor is a superb software. All I had to do with my difficulties with interval notation, linear algebra and rational expressions was to simply type in the problems; hit the ‘solve’ and presto, the result just popped out step-by-step in an easy manner. I have done this to problems in Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 1. I would confidently say that this is just the thing for you.

Algebra Professor is the program that I have used through several math classes - College Algebra, Basic Math and Algebra 1. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through difficulties with absolute values, fractional exponents and decimals. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
